Town of Korcula

The old, established part of the town was built in the shape of a fish bone; main "bone" (street) extends from the main gate to the top of the old town. If you walk around the old town you will see a straight, narrow streets every 20 meters.
They believe that in the old town of Korcula born merchant Marco Polo, so you wherever you come into the city, to see the name of Marco Polo came. In the center of the old part of town near the church, the house where supposedly born Marco Polo, was turned into a small museum.
From the top floor of the museum offers a breathtaking view of the old town.
